Challenge Center’s Lead Physical Therapist, Jaime Casey, is a San Diego native who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University. She continued on to receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos in 2012, and joined the Challenge Center team shortly after. Since then, Jaime has received extensive training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and has achieved Neuro-IFRAH certification for the treatment of neurologically impaired individuals with hemiplegia. Jaime not only serves as a mentor to the other Staff PTs at Challenge Center, she is also an American Physical Therapy Association Certified Clinical Instructor and teaches multiple Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant students each year during their internships with Challenge Center. 
When she is not at Challenge Center, Jaime loves spending her time with her husband and two daughters.  One of their favorite things to do as a family is go camping in the desert. Jaime describes “I often feel like the luckiest girl on the planet. I have a wonderful family at home, and an amazing family at Challenge Center. It is hard to describe Challenge Center as ‘work’ because I have so much passion for it and truly love what I do. Challenge Center is a very special place”.
