Your Support Changes Lives

Challenge Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that fundraises year-round to help individuals with low income receive the care they deserve, after their health insurance covered rehabilitation ends. Our Scholarship Fund is available to seniors and or individuals with severe disabilities of any age, and low income, covering up to 75% of the service fees for qualifying members. We care about our clients and actively seek solutions to keep our facility and services accessible.

Challenge Center’s Scholarship Fund offers subsidized care for low income and underinsured/uninsured individuals, and those who have exhausted their insurance coverage. By supporting the Challenge Center you can help those in need of financial assistance to get the care and treatment they need.

A charitable bequest is a gift made to us through your will or trust. It can take many forms such as a
specific sum or percentage of money, or a specific item of property, such as real estate, an automobile, or other physical asset. A contingent charitable bequest can be made if an original beneficiary named in your will or trust does not survive you.

Do I need to change my will or trust to make a bequest?

No. You can simply name Challenge Center as a beneficiary of your private and/or employer sponsored life insurance policy or policies. You may also name Challenge Center as a beneficiary of any retirement, savings, or brokerage accounts.

How do I designate Challenge Center as a beneficiary?

To designate Challenge Center as a beneficiary in you will or trust, include the specific dollar amount or percentage of money, or a specific item of property, to Challenge Center, Tax ID# 33-0248878.

What is a Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT)?

A Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) is a gift of cash or other property to an irrevocable trust. The donor receives an income stream from the trust for a term of years or for life and the named charity receives the remaining trust assets at the end of the trust term. Consult your attorney about establishing a CRT with Challenge Center as the beneficiary.
